Cookies and browser storage for sign-in, preferences and local photo drafts in Unforgettable Car AI.
2026/10/17
Unforgettable Car AI uses cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences and preserve a photo draft. Cookies are small values sent with website requests. Local storage, session storage and IndexedDB keep data in your browser for the purposes below.
| Purpose | Storage and duration |
|---|---|
| Sign-in and security | Better Auth session and authentication cookies. Sessions normally last up to seven days and may refresh with use. Cached session information lasts up to one hour. Sign-out clears the current sign-in state. |
| Language | The NEXT_LOCALE cookie remembers your selected language. |
| Appearance | Local storage remembers your light, dark or system theme until changed or cleared. |
| Navigation | A sidebar preference cookie remembers the sidebar state for up to seven days. |
| Photo draft | IndexedDB stores a selected photo, quality and permission checkbox; session storage identifies the current tab's draft. Drafts expire 24 hours after their last save, and expired entries are removed on a later visit. Removing the photo or signing out clears the current draft. |
Saving a local draft does not upload the photo. The video form sends it only when you explicitly click Generate with enough credits and permission confirmed.
The site uses first-party acquisition analytics as described below. Advertising trackers are not enabled. Google sign-in, payment checkout and other external services may use their own cookies when you use them; their policies apply on their pages. Introducing non-essential tracking would require an updated notice and any consent required by applicable law.
You can delete or block cookies and clear site data through your browser. Clearing site data can sign you out, reset preferences and remove local photo drafts. Blocking necessary storage can prevent sign-in or draft restoration. Removing browser data does not delete account records or uploaded media on the service.
For server-side information and deletion requests, read the Privacy Policy or contact support@unforgettablecar.video.
We use unforgettable-car_anonymous, unforgettable-car_acquisition and unforgettable-car_acquisition_last cookies, with a maximum lifetime of one year, to remember a random browser identifier and first/latest visit sources. Signing out clears these cookies. We record page paths, photo-selection and pricing interactions, authentication attempts, generation attempts, fixed error codes, and server-confirmed registration, checkout and payment milestones. These analytics do not contain photo contents, filenames, passwords, full URL queries or raw IP addresses. Browser type, language and an approximate country supplied by our hosting provider may be recorded. After sign-in, browser activity can be linked to the account; anonymous activity on separate devices cannot be reliably joined. Account-linked analytics are removed with account deletion. Anonymous server records do not currently have automatic age-based deletion; contact support for deletion requests. Clearing cookies removes browser identifiers but does not erase existing server records.
